While you have complete control of all your website cPanel controls, your resold account limits your support with Siteground to contact through KMDD.
Sometimes, though, things happen. While SiteGround may have an approximate ticket answering time of only 20 minutes– that can seem like a lifetime if your site is down and you have to go through us to get answers. If you find that you or your IT team need direct contact to SiteGround’s support, we offer conversion of your resold account to a standalone hosting account.
Standalone hosting accounts with SiteGround give you complete control over your hosting experience. You have direct contact to their renowned customer service without the need of KMDD maintenance fees. If your site goes down you have direct 24/7 access to SiteGround– all included in your hosting fees!
Clients who choose a standalone hosting account are responsible for their own renewals– including domain names, hosting accounts and any additional SiteGround services purchased, such as Sucuri security or Domain Name privacy.
Important Info for standalone hosting accounts:
- You will no longer be billed by KMDD for your hosting plan and/or domain name(s).
- Siteground will bill you directly.
- Your hosting plan fees may be (slightly) higher.
- KMDD will longer handle any website hosting issues.
- All website hosting issues will need to handled by you directly with Siteground.
