OneYear331For the past two (almost three!) years I’ve been working on a project funded in part by a couple of Leeway Art and Change Grants, and LOTS of great people, called One Year.  This September we’ll be debuting a monumental iteration of our collaborative art installation at The Rotunda during the FringeArts Festival. With four of my fellow MamaCITA members, Janice Hayes-Cha, Brenda Howell, Julie Mann and Kimberly Mehler, One Year at the Rotunda will be new interpretation of the our critically acclaimed exhibit about urban violence that was last installed at the Painted Bride in January, 2013. Experience it here in a short video I produced. The stunning lament in the background by Rhetta Morgan will be recreated at our FringeArts opening.
